‘Him we proclaim’ (Col.1.18). So writes the Apostle Paul of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. As Christian ministers we endeavour to proclaim him too, and from every part of the Bible. Our conference will be devoted to helping us in that great task. The theme is Him we Proclaim – Preaching Christ from all the Scriptures.

Speakers
David Whitla
David Whitla was born in Scotland, raised in Northern Ireland, and emigrated to the United States in 2000. A Professor of Church History at Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA, he has served as director of the seminary’s Theological Foundations for Youth Programme for 20 years and is a Trustee of the Banner of Truth. David is married and has five children.
Andrew Randall
Andrew is minister of Grace Church Larbert in central Scotland, a congregation of the International Presbyterian Church, where he has ministered for the past sixteen years. He first studied law and practised as a civil court litigator for seven years before entering the ministry. He is married to Kay, and is author of Following Jesus: the Essentials of Christian Discipleship (Banner, 2018).
Gerard Hemmings
Gerard was born in London and was raised a Roman Catholic. He was saved at the age of 17. He graduated from university with a degree in Biology and taught the subject for a number of years. Since 1992 he has pastored the church which meets at Amyand Park Chapel, Twickenham. Gerard is married to Mandy and they have 4 grown up children.
Lewis Allen
Lewis is senior pastor of Hope Church, Huddersfield. He, his wife Sarah, and their five children moved in 2010 to plant Hope after 12 years’ pastoral ministry at Gunnersbury Baptist Church, West London. Lewis has written/edited a number of books, including (with Tim Chester) The Glory of Grace: An Introduction to the Puritans in their Own Words (Banner, 2018).
Thomas Brand
Thomas is the Ministry Director for the Evangelical Fellowship of Congregational Churches in the UK. He is the author of ‘Intimately Forsaken: A Trinitarian Christology of the Cross’. Thomas is married to Natalie and they have three daughters.
Paul Smith
Paul is full-time elder at Grace Church, Broadstairs, Kent. He serves on the board of directors of the Evangelical Times, and is a regular contributor and book reviews editor for that publication.
Andy Young
Andy is the minister at Oxford Presbyterian Church, England (EPCEW) and a trustee of the Banner of Truth. He is married with four children and enjoys spending time with his family, reading, good coffee and sports. Andy contributes to the Gospel Reformation UK podcast (GRUKology) from time to time.

Who attends?
The UK Ministers’ Conference is arranged for men who are (or who have been) in pastoral charges, in training for the ministry, or who are serving in missionary work at home or overseas. Please do not apply if you do not fit into one of these categories.
Where is it located?
Yarnfield Park, Yarnfield, Stone, UK
Situated in the village of Yarnfield in Staffordshire, and easily accessible from the M6, Yarnfield Park is a purpose-built conference centre and is well-equipped with modern facilities, has an excellent standard of catering, super-fast internet, and an on-site Costa coffee shop. Attendees will also have access to the nearby sports centre.
Accommodation is in ensuite bedrooms, each equipped with a desk, tea and coffee making facilities, and super-fast wi-fi. Towels are provided. As in previous years, a fully-stocked Banner book room will be open throughout the conference.
Arrival details
Unless special arrangements are made, no one should arrive before 2.00pm on Monday. Registration of conference members will be from 3.00pm to 4.45pm in the atrium.
